Fluorescent communication
For the Ateliers Portes Ouvertes organised by Halle Nord, we designed a poster meant to be immediately noticeable in public space.
The visual is built around a spontaneous typographic composition using the letters APO (Ateliers Portes Ouvertes), painted and drawn with a playful scribble effect — a nod to the artists and the gestures at work in the studios. A brush-filled texture reinforces the readability of the letters while maintaining a free and expressive graphic language. The composition also plays with raw, gestural pencil strokes, sometimes extending beyond the frame, evoking the energy of the studios and the artistic spirit of the place.
Printed mainly in fluorescent pink, red and silver, the poster immediately captures attention. Designed to be visible from afar, it acts as a signal in the city, inviting the public to discover more than 250 artists and 80 studios open over two days.
