Red from the Ground Up:
An Immersive Stand
We designed an immersive fair stand to showcase the creativity of La HEAD–Genève students in watchmaking and to emphasize the need for new voices and professionals in the sector. The stand featured creations from 10 graduates, each presenting a diverse range of aesthetics and concepts.
Our scenography, developed in collaboration with Gabriel Abergel and Carla Marceau, was inspired by photogrammetry—a technique that scans objects to create 3D virtual images with a cloud of dots.
Drawing from the visual of the scanning process, we incorporated various mesh patterns throughout the stand. These patterns were printed on gradient red walls and floors, as well as on display structures that mirrored the printed patterns. At the top of each structure, a backlit, engraved mirror echoed the mesh-inspired design.
To enhance the immersive experience, the stand also featured videos of the watches on display, rendered using photogrammetry by Gabriel Abergel and Carla Marceau.
